Yeah.. 250 Hp
This is interesting from a few posts back

I did not have much luck with my zx10r turbo conversion, first engine did 200 miles before it melted a piston and second engine bent a rod, make sure you fit upgraded rods and pistons as the standard ones are made of plasticine ok in a bike, but can't take the extra stress in a car.
Also fit a good intercooler.
You need to speak to Sean "Indybird" on here, he bought my car from me in the end, and did a good job of getting it running well in the end, but don't expect it to last too long, I know Sean sold the car on, and believe the new owner blew it up at Oulton park, I think if I was doing it all again I would start with a Busa.

Here's a video of my first start up.

Here's a video of Seans when he had worked his majic on the engine

was yours not set up correctly ?
melted piston is normaly due to a poor fuel mix & ing on boost of witch will cause a very high egt (exhaust gas temps) & det.

the bent rod can be a cause of many things main cause is again high heat temps and to much torque. this can be rectified through the set up.

the zx10 is fuel injection so would need to have needed the fueling and ing setting up to suit, were as a blow through on a carb can stay standerd as the more boost is used it just forces in the correct leval of fuel.

if set up correctly its a very safe conversion, i would recomend low boost on a stock engine, but if you wish to run higher boost, concider lowing the compression (either low comp pistons or thicker base gasket spacer) also uprate the head bolts and a metal headgasket.

i used a vems air fuel ratio gauge and egt gauge to keep my eye on any problems and to make sure it was set up running safe.

there are loads of turbocharged bike engines in kitcars that have be problem free for 1000`s of miles.

any questions are welcome if more info is required.

mine was using z1000 pistons and quite a few other mods, but in a std zx9r E1 i would probley say 230bhp @15psi

would only recommend you run a max of 8psi to be safe still be around the 200bhp mark if not a little more.

would you not agree big cc?
